Olivia Newton-John: one of the first singer to push the boundaries before Mandonna.

I've seen many Mandonna fans all over the internet, claiming that Madonna was the first person ever to break the rules and talk about sex or gays in media. That is a lie, like almost everything they say. Olivia Newton-John was one of the artists who did it before Madonna. In her song 'physical' from 1981 she's singing about sexuality and put gay motives in a music video. That was a tabu subject in the 80's but Olivia braved to sing about that. This idea was lifted by Madonna 2 years later, which you can hear in 'physical attraction'.

Raffaella CarrĂ : one of the less known 'inspirations' for Madonna.

Unlike Madonna, Raffaella is a great musician who doesn't steal from others and is also a good actress and she is not an attention grabber showing her tits on concerts. Her style is disco, which was often a source of inspiration for Madge. Many Mandonna's fans say that only she can stay in music industry for 30 years, which is an obvious lie. Raffaella is (one of many) best example that it's not true. Carra makes music since 1970- 12 years longer than Madge.Raffaella is well known in the South America and some Europe countries. If anyone thinks that Mandonna doesn't know who Raffaella is, that is also a lie. She starred in the Raffaella's show in 2000.
Thanks for RaffaellaTV for many of theese photos.
EDIT: Read this- Post from Madonna and Raffaella fan

Kylie Minogue: The real queen isn't inspireD but inspireS

Kylie still remains the most copied singer by Madonna now. It can change to Lady Gaga, who is often inspiration for Madonna. However unlike Gaga's, Kylie's music wasn't stolen by Madonna, YET.

Marlene Dietrich: Why she hated Madonna.

Basically because Madonna ripped her off many times. When Madonna pathetically claimed she wanted to star in her own remake of "Blue Angel" the great Dietrich was clear that it could never be her and that she wanted Tina Turner to not only be Blue Angel but play her in any bio pic. Madonna copied many Marlene's looks in The Girlie Show and she even pathetically tried to speak like Marlene while singing saying 'Like a virgin' lyrics. That was a real disaster.

Many music videos such as I'm a ruin  Sledgehammer or Aya were compared to 'Frozen'. None of Madgestans has ever mentioned 'The Garden of Allah' movie with Marlene, one of her biggest inspiration that she loves so much. They can only shout that Madge pays tributes to other actresses, yet when other singers do the same they're compard with Madonut. Don't they know anything about their idol's inspirations or do they try to tell us out how 'influential' Madge is?
