Ken Russell

Ken Russell apart from being one of history's greatest film directors and a treasure to Great Britain, was radically challenging the Catholic Church in the 1970s with "The Devils" and "Tommy". Madonna and crud "costume designer" Arianne Phillips blatantly stole Ann-Margaret's white satin room and character Nora Walker from Ken's interpretation of The Who's rock Opera "Tommy" for her Confessions looks. Arianne Phillips is just a vile copycat! The light up life size crosses from Ken Russell's interpretation of the rock opera "Tommy" (as well as the conversion scene in "Mahler") and tons of other imagery. Much of The Confessions era "imagery" was nearly all stolen from Tommy, Mahler, Donna Summer, Amanda Lear and Kylie.

As a very vocal advocate of the restoration and reappraisal of Ken Russell's unparalleled 60 year career this makes me very angry.

"The public enmasse were mostly done with Madge over in the states so she started stealing video concepts from Brits."

Evanescence

While part of day-dreaming scenes copies Billie Piper's video, the night scenes are ripping off Evanescence's video Bring me to life.
Notice the sound in the begining with police syrens in background and walking alee in dress.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Rihanna is accused by many M's fans of copying her ,,"iconic",, look from Fever video. The truth is that Madonna didn't invent this (nor any other) look. It was used before in RHCP's video directed by the same person who directed 'fever'. Not only Rihanna is a victim of stupid, unfounded accusations. Some huge morons even compared this look with Shakira's one in "La Tortura" video.

Mylène Farmer- female singer who was controversional before Madonna.

Mylène Farmer is often called the queen of pop in her country- France.
She began making controversional videos with sexual themes in 1986(in Libertine video).
Also in Pourvu qu'elles soient douces from 1988. However that weren't so 'whorish' videos just about f**king like Madonna ones(made later), but also consisted gay(or rather lesbian) themes. Mylene's videos show culture and real human behaviours of old times. Her clips teach something about history( Désenchantée, Tristana etc.)
What's more, Mylene was also using religious imaginaery before Madonna- in Plus Grandir video from 1985.

More of my findings. MDNA(Madonna's Dumb New Album) Tour seems to be 'inspired' by Farmer.

'The Beast Within' which is a 'remix' of 'Justify my plagiarisms' in reality is just a rip off from Bible's Book of Revelation. She only needed a music video. Mylene already had a video about the beast within which comes out of human's personality and is beyond control. It greatly fitted in Madonna's copied lyrics so she 'paid tribute to Mylene' again.

Sezen Aksu- Turkish queen of pop.

    Just like Raffaella Carra in Italy, Sezen Aksu is the best pop singer in her country- Turkey. She also makes music(and writes songs) longer than Madonna. She's doing it for over 40 years, since 1975.( She released a new album in 2017, I recommend 'manifesto' 'hu hu' and ' Koca Kıçlı')
    Many Madonna fans often claim that she did everything first. 'She was the first person who talked publically about important world matters.' or so they say. As we can see, Sezen raised war, hunger and its effects matters long time ago- in 1991.
     In a backdrop from 'get stupid' Madonna showed exactly the same things as Sezen- tanks, rockets, fire, hungry children, migrating, protesting people, politicians etc. Coincidence? I don't think so, especially if we know the fact that music for song 'she's not me' is stolen from Sezen's 'yaz'( from 0:30). That sample was even listed on whosampled.com for a long time but was removed by Copydonna fan.
You are right Madge, Sezen is not you and never will be, because she never stole and never will.

Not only the same video concept but even exactly the same poses, same moves, same way of filming jumps.

Keri Hilson

Madonna's video for 'revolver' is just a copy of Keri Hilson's 'energy'. Her shows from Dry and Bitter Tour which also consists these scenes were before 'revolver' music video, however Keri's one was still before this copy. There are a few videos with boxing theme (Raffaella Carra had one) but not so similar. Copydonna does the same things as Keri( pulling the strings, dancing in front of wall, slopping the water..), has the same poses.

Natalia Kills

Another pop star who was copied when she was on peak- Natalia Kills. Of course Natalia didn't invent all of these things but it is her style. All these ideas like symetrical, triple scenes, some lyrics on screen, protesting people, fighting with soldiers  gathered in 1, 2 videos copied by Madonna hoping to be popular like others. Even the same poses... However worse than Madonut's video is the 'song' or rather terrible sounds recorded with this video.

Sam Haskins

"May 2008 cover and fashion shoot for British Elle. Madonna styled as 'Cowboy Kate' from Sam Haskins' book 'Cowboy Kate and other stories' published in 1964. Neither the stylist (seen interviewed in this video) nor Elle nor Madonna credit Sam Haskins or Cowboy Kate. This despite the fact that a screen in the studio shows Sam Haskins reference images which are being matched by live digital shots on another monitor. As blatant a piece of photographic plagiarism as you will ever find. This is not inspiration its pure idea theft. Only Madonna's make up artist, Gina Brooke interviewed in a subsequent article in another magazine credits Sam Haskins with being a general source of creative ideas. She is the only creative person on the shoot who emerges with their integrity intact. As for the Elle photographer Tom Munro, he is a serial plagiarist, regularly raiding the work of Sam Haskins, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and occasionally David Hamilton."

One of the most known Madonna's art plagiarisms. Her reductive video for 'Hollywood' is a blatant copy of Guy Bourdin's photos. Luckily his son sued her and won the lawsuit.

Music video for 'Vougue' is a total rip off of photos by Horst P Horst, photos of Nastassja Kinski. We can't forget that there was already a song and video about Vouging released by Malcolm MacLaren and Willie Ninja few months before Madonna's reductive version. Typical for her. She's always copied things and people which were popular.

Joan Crawford

The video for 'Power of goodbye',which steals music from 'I want to become' by Love Kills is nothing but a reductive copy of movie 'Humoresque' from 1946. Copydonna has never told about this "homage" but her fans still claim she always gives credit for people who inspired her unlike Gaga. Oh really?
